Analysis of the installation at physical and assembly level
Ozú had contracted Codipro’s 16×7 comprehensive technical support service and began experiencing performance issues in its wireless network. The affected site was a 12-metre-high lattice tower with 4 Cambium Networks ePMP2000 devices installed.
Thanks to the active maintenance contract, our technical team had direct access to its equipment, which allowed us to check and immediately rule out a configuration issue. The next step was to carry out an analysis of the installation at physical and assembly level.
We asked Ozú to send us images of the installation and detected that the equipment mounted on the tower did not maintain the recommended separation distance for optimal performance. As a solution, we proposed adapting the layout of the equipment by designing a new structure with additional capacity to house 3 new Cambium ePMP 3000 devices to increase the available bandwidth.

Once the client had approved all aspects of the proposal, we travelled to the Algodonales site and reviewed every part of the installation, taking advantage of the intervention to carefully check the condition of the materials. We detected sections of cabling with high levels of deterioration and proceeded to replace them. We then assembled the metal structure and installed the new ePMP3000 access points.

Today, we are proud to see that the completed installation continues to operate optimally and that the overall level of network incidents has fallen by more than 60%. Within just a few hours of the incident being opened, Ozú Telecom received a full diagnosis and a proposal with recommended solutions.
