Axians and Codipro boost municipal connectivity for Córdoba City Council with Ceragon technology
The City Council of Córdoba needed a connectivity solution capable of strengthening its municipal network with stable, reliable links prepared to support increasingly demanding public services.

The challenge: greater range, higher capacity, and maximum reliability for a municipal network
Public networks require solutions capable of ensuring service continuity, stability, and performance even in complex deployments. In the case of the City Council of Córdoba, the project required technology that would enable the connection of municipal sites through long-distance links while maintaining high transmission capacity and a competitive cost.
In addition, the solution had to address several key challenges:

- Extended range: the links needed to cover distances of over 3,000 meters without compromising performance.
- High capacity: the infrastructure had to be prepared to support increased traffic demands and new digital applications.

The solution: Ceragon IP-50EXP, supplied and installed by Codipro
For this deployment, Codipro proposed the IP-50EXP from Ceragon, a wireless backhaul solution designed to deliver multigigabit connectivity, long-range coverage, and high availability in scenarios where network stability is critical.
The IP-50EXP offers up to 10 Gbps of capacity and high transmit power of 24 dBm, enabling greater distances while maintaining reliable performance. In addition, its efficient design omits unnecessary features to deliver exactly what operators, enterprises, integrators, and public administrations need: capacity, reliability, simplicity, and cost efficiency.
In collaboration with Axians, Codipro is responsible for the supply, installation, and commissioning of the four links, bringing its technical expertise in radio link projects, wireless transport networks, and connectivity solutions for both public and private environments.
